I wanted to show an easy way to make your own raspberry jam, let’s jump right in!
You’ll need a bunch of raspberries, two spoons of Chia-seeds (depending on the amount of jam you’re making) and honey if you want to add some sweetness to your jam. Mix your raspberries together until they form a sort of paste, add the seeds an honey to your liking.
Have a nice day!
I thought it would be fun to update you about some pieces I bought the last month and a half. It’s not very much but I am very happy with it, I love photographing jewelry, it’s so small and precious.
The second necklace is from Hard Bitten, I’m not sure if that shop exists in other country’s besides the Netherlands. It is kind of a vintage store, I don’t come there very often, it is a little too hipsterish to my taste (if that makes sense). The color is kind of a deep purple, very beautiful. I wanted to buy a light pink stone at first, but I thought this one fitted my style better. I got it for €15,-
The third piece isn’t really a new one, it has been in my mothers stash for thirty years or something, she didn’t wear it anymore so I’m wearing it now. As you can see on the second picture, the ring is old and completely deformed, I think I have to give a visit to the jeweller anytime soon (:
I hope you enjoyed this little haul!
Sorry for the radiosilence, I’ve been quite busy with school. I thought I’d make it up with you with this wonderful, easy and delicious microwave cake! This recipe is from Gemma Stafford. I changed up the recipe a little bit since I didn’t have lemon at home. I used an orange instead. The original amound of oil is 2 tablespoons for two cakes, I thought that was a bit much, so I used half a tablespoon.
What you will need for two mug cakes:
3 tablespoons flour
1⁄4 teaspoon baking powder
1⁄8 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 table spoon of sunflower oil
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
1-1⁄2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
¼ cup (40 grams) blueberries, frozen or fresh
Your pastry will now look like this. Apply the fresh orange or lemon juice and the grated orange or lemon. Pour the pastry into your cup and clean up the edges. I put my little cake in the microwave for 2 minutes and 10 seconds on 900 Watt.
This bordeaux red bag from Zara, spotted in a vlog from HelloOctoberxo.
I am in love. I could not find it on the Zara site and I have no idea if I will find it in the shop, I’ll take a look tomorrow. I hope I’ll be lucky, if you happen to have this bag and want to sell it or have an url to the bag, please let me know!
While I was at work yesterday, my mom bought some very cute stuff at Hema. I’m sure that doesn’t exist in America, they do have it in Germany and France. And in the Netherlands of course. I’m always reorganizing my room as you might have seen. I have been doing this since I was a kid and I would love to do something similar as my job later on. The new roomtheme is yellow. I just recently started to love this colour. It brightens up the room and I believe light, bright colours makes you more positive and energetic.
The cup is from an unknown brand. My mom and I bought it on a second hand market. The textile board is from Hema. The piece of cloth is from IKEA, I’m planning to do something really awesome with it! My Pixar look-a-like lamp is also from Hema, as well as the white yellow pillow. The unfocused picture is also a part of a project, which I will be showing you later on. And to end this post: a quote from ‘Yellow’ by Coldplay. Love, love, love that song!
